Phil Keckich

Phil has over
thirty years of human resources professional experience. His
background includes partnership status with an executive search
firm, independent consulting, and senior corporate human
resources leadership responsibility with a Fortune 200 company.
With a major
manufacturing firm, Phil led initiatives that introduced
assessment centers for selecting first and second level
managers, the utilization of line managers as workshop
facilitators for new and incumbent supervisor training, the
establishment of a company wide pool of candidates to fill 750
first level supervisory positions and the redesign of executive
compensation. As a consultant, Phil worked with national and
internationally owned companies and designed compensation,
benefits and training programs and worked on special projects
involving the Chicago Police Department and Chicago Public
Schools.
His thirteen
years of career management includes twelve years with The Derson
Group, where he consulted with clients’ management teams to
develop separation packages, stay bonuses, employee
communications, and outplacement programs. Phil was also
responsible for establishing and managing out of state offices
for clients with multiple locations and business development.
As a coach, Phil has counseled individuals at all levels of
management and assisted many clients with their career changes.
His career
management opinions have been cited in the Chicago Tribune and
the Daily Southtown and he has appeared on WBBM’s Opportunity
Line. Additionally, Phil served as an adjunct faculty member at
Purdue University Calumet.
Phil holds a
B.A. in psychology from Denver University and an M.A. in
psychology from Roosevelt University.
