Lu Cibelli

Lu brings a combination of human resource operations and consulting experience to SSP.    She is a member of our Health Care practice and her prior experience includes several leadership positions in that industry. 

While working for Westlake Hospital, Lu specialized in the areas of Recruitment, Employee Relations and Training.  After the Synergon  System was formed, a merged entity between Westlake and Oak Park Hospitals, she led the Patient Relations and Telecommunications areas for that system. 

Since she has been in consulting, Lu has served as a physician/executive coach, transition coach, search consultant and talent management coach with clients in a broad range of industries.  She has extensive experience in the Association industry, having served as the Career and Recruitment Counselor for the Association Forum of Chicago and authoring their monthly Career Column.  Lu has presented at numerous conferences and has taught a Career Management course at Dominican University.  Prior to joining SSP, Lu was a Senior Consultant with Joseph Bucolo Associates, a Human Resource consulting practice and continues to manage that business which is now a division of Scherer Schneider Paulick. 

Lu was granted her B.A. degree in Psychology from Quincy University and has completed graduate coursework at Benedictine University and Keller Graduate School in Human Resources, Marketing and Organization Development.  In addition, she has formal training in the Deming Quality Improvement philosophy. 

She is a member of the Society for Human Resource Management and The Association Forum of Chicago.
