Scherer Schneider Paulick’s next Book Signing Event is October 5, 2005.  We are featuring author, Susan Lucia Annunzio.  Her book is Contagious Success: Spreading High Performance Throughout Your Organization.

Your company has already right-sized, cut costs, improved efficiency, and flattened the org chart. Yet profitable and sustainable growth remains elusive.

Fortunately, according to Susan Lucia Annunzio, you do not have to look far for the solution.  Somewhere in your organization, right now, are high-performing workgroups consisting of a few people or a few hundred; they may be functional departments or ad hoc teams working on specific problems.  Whatever their size or composition, they are your best answer to the creative and competitive demands of today’s marketplace. Annunzio and her team at the Hudson Highland Center for High Performance undertook a worldwide study of more than 3,000 knowledge workers, seeking the factors that accelerate or inhibit high performance in workgroups.  The shocking news is that only 10% of all workgroups qualify as high performing.  Annunzio’s big insights, supported by the groundbreaking research, are the same elements that drive high performance around the world.

Our Book Signing Event was an enjoyable evening at the Forge Club in Vernon Hills.  We featured the book, The Woman Road Warrior: A Women’s Guide to Business Travel, by Kathy Ameche, an accomplished executive and herself a 20-plus year business road warrior.

Nearly 50% of today’s business travelers are female.  And now, there’s an extraordinary comprehensive new book written just for them, giving itinerant businesswomen the inside scoop on how to facilitate, navigate, troubleshoot – and even enjoy – every aspect of their work related trips.
